You could literally replace the blue oval with the 4 rings and it would pass as an allroad. Right down to the trim on the bottom of the doors, the brushed aluminum roof rack and the big spoke wheels with accent 'tic' on each spoke.
If it's half as good as the picture looks, it should get a lot of minivan converts.

Hmmm...that could actually do well. A 3.0 V6 sounds a bit weak for something of that size, but Ford managed to put Suvs in the mainstream with the Explorer, perhaps they can make this one work too.
Yes it looks very much like an allroad, but that's not a bad thing...

The Freestyle is notable in several ways. The Freestyle FX is a lot like an automotive Swiss Army Knife due to its almost infinite versatility. The FX can transform itself from a six-passenger station wagon to a four-passenger sedan or four-passenger SUV with a Sport-Trac-like bed out back in about the same amount of time it takes to put a typical convertible top down -- and all this changing can be done via the remote key fob. To prove this is no ordinary station wagon with fold-down rear seats, Ford has given the FX the ability to hold a 4-by-8-foot sheet of plywood with the rear seats and tailgate folded down. In many ways this transformation is similar to that of the Chevrolet Avalanche, and yet the Freestyle FX takes that idea to the next level -- perhaps even beyond the next level.
The Freestyle FX is powered by a Duratec 3.0-liter V6 mated to a CVT combined with all-wheel drive and stability control.

Here is the reason that the "Freestyle" resembles the allroad.
From the NY Times:
"For the other vehicles, Five Hundred and Freestyle, Mr. Mays, the former top designer at Volkswagen's Audi division, is more willing to concede he has envisioned European knockoffs."
"The appearance of these vehicles seem to be $15,000 more than the cost of the car," Mr. Mays said. "These are going to be incredibly great values
