Greetings to all and a MIGHTY thanks for all of the great posts and info!! This is an excellent resource. I knew as soon as I sold the Passat last month that the Allroad was my next move. I am ready... BUT, I have settled and am adamant about finding a 2002 6spd silver and I need your help...can you scan your local dealerships and see if there is one out there for me to get? Nothing that I am aware of on the west coast. I don't care where in the USA - I am willing to go get it and return to Portland, OR with my new beauty...Thank you ever so much and I look forward to years of fun on this site and of course with my new car...(fingers crossed)

By the way, you can have your local dealer do a computer search of all allroads in the country, to find what you want.

Way Back about 5 weeks ago University had 13 alroads, '02's by the way (not sure about any '03's) and one of them, an Atlas Gray had the 6 speed tranny.

Interesting data point: now they have only 3 of them left and the one with the manual is still there.

This may have more to say about Seattle traffic patterns than the desirability of the manual transmission.

not sure, but I think Stammler Audi in Boulder, CO has an Atlas Gray dealer demo with a 6-speed. Call Arelene Ott at 303-442-7007. Thanks MPM on that most excellent tip!!! Just put the money down on a 2002 Silver 6spd...(34 miles on her)w/ Lux, convien, prefered, bose,leather heated front and rear seats... all for: $40840. I was pretty happy about that price at the 3.9% or 4.9% financing. Pretty good deal for me...

Now I jsut have to figure out how to get it out to me in Oregon!! Might be a nice long drive or I may just ship the thing...

Either way - proud new owner of an Allroad. Glad to be part of the family...
