Default gear box problem

problems with my 2004 triptronic gearbox the gear shift is stuck in park, the suspension and climate controls have no power and the abs and traction control warning lights are on.i was told to change the brake light switch which i have done with no success.I was wondering if it might be a relay as when i reset the ecu everything works fine then there is a click and the problems start again can anybody shed some light on it

Are you seeing any codes? Also, how do you reset the ECU?

You may have an issue with your ABS module malfunctioning, try disconnecting it (under the hood, unclip the connector).

ABS modules are known to go which then block the CAN/K-line bus and prevents modules from communicating causing some of them to stop responding.

Can you communicate with any module, especially with ECU when using scan tools?
