Default Good to do

On occasion raise your car or put it on a lift and wipe of the bag and strut body. Small rocks and debris get caught in here and increase the wear on the air bags leading to leaks.Dont use petro chems or Armor all, just wash them off. I am amazed at the junk collecting in this area. Particularly if you're in the snow belt

Default I presume that...

...one of those high-pressure underbody sprays at a drive-through car wash would do the same thing.

Default I wouldn't do that.......

you run the risk of squirting water into the electrica conectors. Yes they are weather tight but the pressure of the water is likely to overcome the seal, same thing with engine, garden hose good, high pressure bad. Also I have noticed that things become embedded into the stru body requiring a little fingernail action.
