Default Got the damn Engine Warning light last night on the way to Maine.

Car started to shudder and loose power (60,400 miles). Engine light went back off but came on and stayed on as I drove through the NH tolls. Major bummer... Need to Vag it and see what codes its throwing. Fun way to start the new year.

Default doesn't hurt to poke around under the hood either....

My car was running rough and threw the CEL the next day... the day of a trip to Colorado. Visited my trusty mechanic that AM and turns out the intake hose behind the MAF had popped it's clip and seperated. I was getting unmetered air. He popped it back in place, smooth as silk.

Wierd stuff happens.

Could be something in the fuel too, if it doesn't come back I wouldn't worry about it.
