at Audi dealership the other day and they wanted selling for $2200 for 2 monitors and installation. CRAZY! But supposedly they each could play different dvd's and were stand alone units.

Anyone done yet? Pictures? Cost? What upgrade did you ahve to do?

velcro sling off the headrests and wired to a aux splitter so both kids can use batteries or power from center console. This is great because they can take them into the hotel or where they have a tendency to be bored (ie. friends or relatives).

I have a no name brand half DIN dvd player mounted in the slot for the owners manual and two sony lcd's with IR, mounted in a audi, not my original ar, headrests that I picked up from TeddyB. All electronics purchased from ebay for less than $600. The lcd's don't really fit into the audi headrest very cleanly but it's OK.

I got it for cost, and install was pretty easy, My kid loved it as we drove down to the Sebring race.
