Has anyone put the shorter Euro antenna on a US spec car?

I have done this; but I used a hielicoil (sp?). I would like to find the proper thread size...
We can drill/tap the antenna to the new size; I even tried to remove the old stud to no avail. Hey, let me know if you find one. I don't have any pictures yet; but will soon.

You can get one from CFI Motorsports that already has the right size thread...
no drilling required. I don't think you'll find them on their website, but you can call and order like I did.
On a side note, some fun for me today...the new V1 has landed! Hope to do the hardwire install this Saturday, because I'll certainly be busy in front of the TV on Sunday...
