Has anyone upgraded front brakes?
I was following excellent write-up by 03indigo. Replaced rear setup with pbr Ceramic pads and Bembro rotors. Got to front and found pbr Ceramic pads ECS Tuning sent me didn't match. I have single piston calipers, not dual. So I need two pads per caliper, not four. Is this universal for 02 allroad? Has anyone used pbr pads in single piston type brake?
Thanks in advance. Need to get this done. Brakes are at their end of life. Bembro rotors are a fit; I just need some high end pads now.

Call ecs, let them know you have the different calipers....they should have them in stock
the HP2 caliper I did my write up on was only for the 2001, S4's and other 2.7T cars with the HP2 caliper. Your caliper is different....and pads are different. PBR does make them for your fitment, just let ECS know, and they should be able to get them for you...
and fyi, I did ECS cadmium plated slotted and drilled, which were made by Zimmerman, not Brembo....

While I was changing the Starter I noticed pad wear, Inner pads very low Outer pads thick, Calipers?
