Default Has anyone used a "paintless dent removal" process to remove

a small dent? I have a small "cave in" on the front fender that looks like a basketball hit it and I'm considering having Dent Doctor remove the dent in leau of traditional body work because of cost and I don't want to disturb the factory paint finish. The damaged area's paint was not disturbed. Has anyone used this service?

Default yes...

not personally...but I have seen a few Audi's who have done this. They all looked better than the usuall body work. Its an art and you should look at samples of the artist befor you delve into it.

Default Yes. Work well if there are no creases from the dent.....

They drill a small hole from an inner part of the panel and have tools to reach in to the back side. I had a few door dings removed from a door. They drilled the hole on the inner face of the door above the door latch acceptor. They put in a plastic plug afterwards. Pretty unnoticeable.
I don't know where they would drill for a front of rear 1/4 panel.
There's a base charge per panel then a small upcharge for additional dents in the same panel.
When I did it about 5 years ago it was about $65-$75 per panel/1st dent and like $25 for additional dents in the same panel.

for front fenders they just unscrew the liner in the wheel well, and slide the tools up

Yes, on the doors (on dents caused by car doors opening into mine). Looks 100% perfect.

Yes and have used it many times over the years. Looks perfect-just make sure you get a quality person in your area. Check with your local high-end dealers and they all seem to have a person they deal with.

Yes. It's one of the last remaining 'great things' on the planet.
