Height Sensor Wiring (and hello!)
Hi Everyone,
I just joined the site after searching (without success) for the wiring schematics for the drivers side front height sensor wiring. I rewired my front two height sensors (cracked wires going into the plugs) and think I messed up the connections on the front left. Getting a left front electrical failure code. I also replaced the height sensor itself with a new unit.
Does anyone have pics or a wiring diagram I can use for reference to double check?
I'm also having a hell of a time waterproofing the new connections, tried dielectric grease and non hardening silicone... but every time it rains the water gets in and shorts the connection.
A quick intro, I have a 2003 Allroad 6spd (APR chip), a B5 A4 (GIAC Chip, Brakes, and Koni coils) and 2 '84 Rabbits in the looong process of restoration... too many projects not enough time!
