Default help! aftermarket headlights causing multiple faults, Uwe very helpful, but...

Replaced my oem lights with the LLtek lights and they look and perform extremely well. Did throw the headlight range adjustment code immediately, since they are not autoleveling. I figured the car does that anyway, so no biggie. Uwe and Andy at Ross Tech advised to remove the headlight range control module, which did remove the headlight code, but then the suspension module threw codes:
00774 - Level Control System Sensor; Left Rear (G76)
57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure
00776 - Level Control System Sensor; Left Front (G78)
57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure
01771 - Control Module for Headlight Range (J431)
79-00 - Please Check Fault Codes

So, it appears these two modules talk to each other. Does anyone have any ideas, other than getting someone to ready the wiring diagram and explain to me how to close the open circuit that the xenon module "sees"?

help.

Unhook the suspension module too?

Seems like there ought to be a code in there somewhere that tells the computer to look for certainn things when the headlights are turned on, I have no experience with the VAG-Com, but if you have one, have you looked at all the possible modules that might effect this to try and turn that function off?

Seems they do NOT want you fiddling with their car, do they?

It seems like your new HL's are not position correctly. Since you do have VagCom handy you can adjust them your self. If I remember correctly Ross-Tech does have procedures to properly aim new oem/aftermarket headlight's. You can start here: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/Main_Page
