Default Hick-up

2nd time for same question. Lost the first reply. Anoying burp at speed no loss of power. '01 50k. Had mech. put Vag Com on while driving around- nothing really popping out( didn't happen that much) replaced spark plugs w/ no change. Another mech is telling me to check coil. Any thoughts.

Place brown paper bag over intake? Might be king of difficult to turn her upside and flush radiator.

I was thinking that he could scare the car? Works on my wife's hiccups...

Default Seems odd that VAG COM did not reveal anything...

...could it be a hard tranny shift you are feeling, or is it definitely coming from the engine? Is your ECU chipped or do you have any aftermarket engine/exhaust components?

Default Is the hickup brief enough that if you were going over a few bumps at same time you might miss it?

Very strange. Is this under acceleration or simply just cruising around? More details please.

Could always seal off exhaust and intake (hold breath).

Go to gas station and fill it with the nozzle upside down.

Sorry not to respond sooner- got the flu and a second son! The car is '01, 50k I had APR engine chip and went to my longstanding mech.GIAC guy. Went to get tranny chip - I'm not liking this drive by wire thing - hoping to eliminate some of the frustrating hesitation. He admonished me and I ended up with all GIAC chips. Then the "Hickups". Happens in tip or auto, under power or cruisin. I am not real technical, but the VG showed him slight missfire, but nothing significant. Issue has been there for 6 mnths not getting any worse just more annoying. I used to have so much more time for my love. Its not even my car anymore I get the truck. no other apparent reasons. Use the right fuel and believe me I wish I could just "Scare" the girl! Thanx for the responses

Default Congrats on the 2nd son! ...

I wonder if you need to do a throttle body adaptation. Whenever chips are done it is recommended. You might want to post a new thread and get more feedback since it's been a week or so.
