Default How much for dealer to install mudflaps?

I think that I will get the mudflaps and I am quite certain that I will not be the one to install them. That raises two questions:

[1] How much should the mudflaps cost?

[2] How much will the installation cost?

About the second question, is there a set charge for the installation or can each dealer charge a different amount? If the latter, what is a fair charge for this instalation?

Default Got them as part of the deal. I'd say it took them 2 hours...

There's a lot of screws and clips to attach

$89 a pair from the dealer. They stated $300 to $350 for parts and labor to install. Clair wants $74 a pair. The fronts took about an hour for me to install without removing the tires. No holes to drill. Putting the back ones on in the spring while switching back to summer tires.

Default Bought them at Clair Parts

and had the dealer install them. He quoted me 30 minutes but it took 1.5 hours. He was honest enough to eat the extra labor cost.

Default With a bit of care and patience.....

...these can be installed by the owner.

Simply follow the instructions to the letter.
Soak mud flaps in tepid water immediately before installing to make more pliable to follow arch contour.
Best to remove wheels, mark orientation to the hubs before removal, use a trolley jack,
Torx bits required.

If you just don't have the hands, or facilities,
get a handy buddy to do it.
