I mean way better, just like a real muscle car. But, sound is not everything. My 2.7 handles & rides way smoother than the 2004 4.2 I tested. Must be my Road Force balanced 19" Yoko's. The 18" Conti's road like a Subaru, cheap. The 4.2 has way more power off the line & a smoothness lacking in the 2.7. BUT...it lacks the snap the turbos give you. I have become accustomed to the 2.7TIP driving requirements.( I was trying to downshift the 4.2 on the steering wheel paddles, it does not have.) I just have to get over the damage done to my door & hope the body shop does it right. Then the GIAC chips are going in. :-)

Install chip & remove Rear Mufflers (straight pipe) like I did;
The power/torque will now be on par with the 4.2L. Also I think the allroad sounds great this way. Why pay $1,200 for a Cat-Back exhaust system when you can do the same for 10% of that? If you don't like the results, you can always spend the $1,200 for aftermarket setup.
You'll be pleased with the results.
