fixed it myself, without the manual, seems they bent four of the clips that hold it in...
by forcing it in place instead of guiding it, so these clips, not in their respective slots acted as springs poping the entire liner off into my head as I opened the door
they called back before I went to work on it
after 11 cars purchased there over 15 years between my father and I, no more business for them
