Default Intermittent INOP Turn Signal

Like the Subject says, my turn signal (both left or right) stops working intermittently but if I reset the turn signal arm it starts to work again...

Anyone ever experience this? My hope is that its a flasher problem but something tells me it might be the arm.

How easy is it to replace the turn signal flasher (& where is it?)?

Any suggestions/experiences with this?

I've already done a search but didn't find anything that helped me.

Default Re: replace your hazard relay

is there a seperate hazard relay or is the turn signal and hazard flasher combined?

the hazard lights seem to work fine... I have to spend more time diagnosing.

Also, by hazard relay you mean flasher? or is this some other component? Where is it located?

Thanks for the reply!

Just search Hazard Relay here, C5 or any forum, really. Common $30 DIY repair.

Default many of us have done this...its simple and works every time.

the blinkers work via the hazard relay circut. The hazards can work fine, but one or at times both blinkers can fail. THe part is 25.00 or so (US) from a dealer and the repair is about 10 minutes of youw own time with nothing more than a [utty knife and a thin bladed screwdriver.

any idea where I can find a step by step DIY? or any tips on removing the trim? I'm brutal when it comes to interior components/trim!

Default Search is your friend. You can find 2 or 3 methods easily, as I did.

enter "hazard relay" and choose some forums (allroad and C5), then go to town
