Hi All,

I just picked up a 2001 allroad last week with 51K miles on it. I am really happy with my purchase, I took it off roading this week at Big Bear Lake.

On the day of my purchase I saw the check engine light come on after I drove it off the lot (I had driven the car on 2 test drives before I bought it and the light had not come on). I immediately called the dealer and let them know of the probem (they are going to have it looked at). After pumping a full tank of gas and 3 or 4 starts later the check engine light turned off and remained so for about another day. Yesterday the light came back on. Is this emmissions related? Any ideas?

Mine is on since i got it .I turn the light of it last about 175 mile to 200 ,, enough to drive the car for about 120 to 140 and go thrue inspection without problems,,, i know that the problem is precat 1 or 2 or bouth they where change bye the previous owner at 45.000 miles and problem shows agaain at 82.000 miles ,,,,,,,,sucks isn't,,,,,
