What I don't understand is why on earth Audi delivers cars with tires out of balance in the first place. They obviously know this is a problem with a ton of new cars (mine is about 2 months old and has about 2.5k miles--I've taken some long trips) and yet they still tried to tell me it might be mud build up (I have the single spoke wheels and haven't driven in any mud). Why don't they check the balance BEFORE the customer drives the car off the lot.

BTW, I have the Goodyear's on the car. I'll switch to the Pilot Sport A/S in 245/50/17 when these wear down.

We have the same car--purchased at the same time.
I replaced the tires on day 2....No wobble and great handling....

I'm saving the zero mile goodyears to give back to audi at the end of my lease....

But I do have a bad "ride hight sensor"... It will take two weeks to get....

Hope all is well with you, the baby and the dog (don't forget the wife)....

what tires did you get? the pilots in 245/50/17? wife, baby and dog are all great except i found that the a/c doesn't work so well in reaching the back for our dog on hot days.

remember--we have the same situation--atlas grey, baby, dog, etc.

the best way to get a/c to the back is to press just the middle button for the climate control, NOT auto....

yes, those are the tires and the size I have....
