Default laguna seca trip is history!

I attended the recent laguna seca driving event and thought i would mix it up a bit and bring my allroad instead of my a4 that i usually drive at track events.

I got considerably faster throughout the day and was able to hang on with a (stock) S4. I did manage to smoke the brakes and will be needing new rotors and pads (the originals with 30k and one track day on them) so its off to the dealer i go tomorrow.

I had the car lowered while i was there and did not have a chance to get out on the track to compare before and after. My gut tells me it doesnt handle any better lowered. but it looks sweet!

The attached pic is before i lowered it...

without the tires, chip and sway bar upgrade, i think it would have been decidedly LESS fun.

Speaking of fun, i am going to stick to my shifter kart from now on.....its much cheaper to crash!

Default Those look like the SPR 3-piece wheels from SPP...

Those are sweet rims!

howdy:

glad you like the picture, they were taking them all day long and you could buy them on the spot and have them digitally printed. I couldn't resist!! www.digitimages.com

The wheels are Kinesis K19's, the spokes are painted Atlas gray to match the rest of the car and the tires are Bridgestone SO-3's

I will get a pics of the car all washed up and looking pretty now that it is lowered and post them.

I have some 8mm wheel spacers on the way, which should finish off the package.

How do you like the stoptech brakes...i am in need of more stopping power!

take it easy!

the stoptechs are great.......my stock rotors were trashed after the first track day and fade was a huge problem. The stoptechs added better feel and consistant braking all day long, well worth it.
