Fuse box for a 2004 Allroad, 4.2.

that's a jumper for fuse 36, which is for the fog lights. My GUESS is that someone ran auxiliary lights and hardwired them to the same fuse.

or they were pulling constant power from that fuse to run a radar detector/camera or something else. I forget what fuse I jumped when I did my radar detector in my allroad (It's been gone for 10 years). But I did something JUST like that, but capped the wire when I removed the detector

I'd just remove the jumper fuse and replace it with a normal 15 amp fuse that belongs there

Thanks! Makes a lot of sense, but I'm the third owner and not sure what was done by others.
