Default menu **** function?

If the car is equipped w/o NAV, exactly what function does that "Menu" **** located just aft of the mirrors **** on the console provide? I tried to figure that out on the car I borrowed from my dealer, but could not get any obvious indication. Thanks.

Default No, I have Parktronic w/o Nav and I don't have the ****

And I'm very glad because that's the only cup holder in the car that can hold a Snapple.

Default Definitely on a 2002 with 36 miles on ODO

I checked-definitely neither the NAV antenna, nor the hardware in left rear compartment. Just a **** located where the cup holder would normally be, and marked "Menu". Damned if I could find a use for it, and concluded I had no idea why it was there.

This **** is a multi-function controller.

It allows the set up of tire pressure monitoring, navigation, setting speed warnings and a few other tidbits... it's covered in the manual (even if you don't have the goodies).

My AR has the ****.

Is that something you get only with NAV/OnStar/tire pressure monitoring?
