sooooo I was cruisn' in tip mode in 5th going around 35mph and I HAD to accelerate to get to the next lane. I floored it, and the DBW lag was apparent. so I flipped the stick to drive, while my foot was to the toggle, and i took off like a bat out of hell! this could be a safety issue, or a great lag fix!

so of course as a male I did it again.

seemed to me that when driving in "5" at any speed in tip mode, put your pedal to the floor then immediately flip the stickshift to "D," you take off! this i don't recommend all the time, since i bet with the overrevving would damage the tranny and engine. but it was interesting to find that this sequence of moves worked.

seemed faster then tipping to 3 from 5.

Doesn't look like one can over-rev the engine, beyond spec... so enjoy! =)
