and sorry, but I don't know the answer to your question. I would guess it has to do with your risk tolerance of potential warranty problems. How long do you think it takes to shake out any bugs in a new car?

of course it would also depend on driving behavior. You could chip it at zero miles as long as you stay out of the high boost until after break-in.
