My Audi service manager told me that the 2.7T allroad

Default My Audi service manager told me that the 2.7T allroad
requires more than the provided 6 quarts of Mobil 1 5W-30. The tech happened to have a quart available and topped it off for me. The service manager request that if I provide own oil I should bring in 7 quarts. Is this true when dealing with dealerships? What about you do-it-yourself type, does the 2.7 T require up to 7 quarts of motor oil?

My '04 ar2.7T takes exactly 7 quarts with filter change.

It took about 7.6 qt last time on mine with filter change.

Default That's what my dealer told me as well....
When I took mine in for the 60K service. Mine came out to about 7.234 qts. ;o)

Default Its the plumbing for the 2nd turbo.... JK... But not only does the car take alot of gas..
It takes alot of oil. I've heard that EXXON was funding the engine's design team.

Default Seems it should be identical to the 2.7T in the S4, which is 6.9 qts including filter...
I've always rounded up that extra 0.1 quart and used 7 quarts even, even on the one oil change on our allroad so far.
