Engine mods are pretty much along the lines as those for the b5 s4...
...and depends on what you have (2.7t vs v8). For the 2.7: chip, exhaust, etc. The link to the faq has more info. (not much on engine mods yet though)

http://allroadfaq.com/</a

I have a 2.7T. I had aspirations of big hp, but I heard that the tippy is weak. I don't know if I want to dump $6k into a tranny rebuild.
Also, I know what the basic mods are, but I'm interested in first hand opinions. Which chip? I had a GIAC in my RS6, but I hear APR has a nice program. Which exhaust, etc?

I'm planning to get a manual, so trans issues are much less. As far as chip...
...the generally recommended one is that which you have a local dealer for. All of giac, apr, revo seem to have a good reputation.
For exhaust, I'm happy with the apr on my a4, and plan to do the same on whatever ar I end up buying. (I previously had a borla, and that's *way* too loud in an avant!)

I dissagree on the borla....had one on my A4 avant... best exhaust
I loved the borla.. .sounded good, outside and in.... the milltek was always sorta raspy... apr was nice, but expensive...
I wish they made a borla for the allroad... i'd get one in a heartbeat!
(need an allroad first )
