Re:Looked at the Q5 on Saturday
Nice package and a better size for me than the Q7. Still stands tall but the step in height is about right. Comfortable well layed out interior. It listed for $42k but was not heavy in options.

I looked at a Q5 also, while at the dealer Friday. Listed for $49K and was loaded.
I was very impressed. Nice size and layout. But I fell in love with the '09 A4 Avant they had right next to it. Listed for about $43K as I remember (also loaded). They both had the "open sky" big sunroof. Real nice!

actually no, but we did sneak on to the field. post 9/11, kinda hard to believe...
we literally followed another car through a gate, and waived at the security person (who was not a fed, just rentacop). As you can see, this was Blue Angel #7, which is the 2 seater for press/vip rides, and was parked off to the side. We never would have made it near #'s 1-6...this was in Grand Junction, CO, which was also probably in our favor.

that reminds me of the Lincoln ad in the 80's after GM downsized their line...
...it's mayhem at the Valet stand because all of the cars look alike. Buicks, Cadillacs, Oldsmobiles...
..then the Lincoln Town Car shows up.
man, I wish I could find it on youtube.
