Nice Pics Silvar
I ordered the mirrors from a company in Germany 'Advantige'.
The mirror mouldings are difficult to get because they are larger than A6 mirrors, took them 6 weeks.

I too HAVE aluminum mirrors!
As you may have already seen from pictures I've posted of my allroad, I've made it to look "Euro spec". I've done so by purchasing a few cosmetic items in Europe to make my U.S. allroad appear more true to it's original German look... (Such as the Euro surround seen in my signature below...)
One item I was able to find via a U.S. outlet was the brushed chrome/aluminum mirrors for the allroad.
I obtained them through Volk's Cafe' in Santa Cruz, CA. They are a tuning shop for VW mostly but sell parts/accessories for Audi, BMW, Honda/Acura and more.
If you're interested call Chris Honig at 831.426.1244 - tell him David, the guy with the black allroad, referred you!...(they can order almost anything)! Oh, and I don't know the price because I got them for free - I work for Electronic Arts (EA Sports) and get the guys free games in exchange for certain items. (I'm going to guess $150-$300 for the pair.)

P.S. I'll post pictures as soon as I can make time to take some...

Didn't realize you are in Austrailia, mate. Did your bumpers come painted, too? If you get a chance ask the parts man at the dealer if the turnsignal unit in the light housing is available and it's price. Thanks.
