New Rubber on 2004 4.2 with 18"...very happy! New Potenza 760's
I bought my 2004 4.2 about 6 months ago, and have already put 15,000 miles on it. The tires that came with it were General Exclaim 245-45-18, probably some of the worst tires I have ever tried.
I did a lot of research into what tire I was going to replace with, I was pretty solid on Continental Sport Contact 2 or 3.
But came across a new tire that was released a month ago, Bridgestone Potenza 760.
Read some good reviews, and they met the combination I was looking for, performance, yet decent wear...
similar tread patern to 050's but with 340 wear.
Checked Tirerack, where I usually get my tires: $163
Checked local BFG/Firestone: $140.00+ $50 rebate!
No brainer!
much better then $230 for Conti's
These tires ROCK! glued to the road!
very happy!
