Newb questions about Lemmiwinks:
I have a craving for more power, but there are a few things holding me back from getting a chip:
+Voiding my warranty
+Money
+Potentially make car less reliable
It seems as if Lemmiwinks can help on a few of these issues:
+I can restore factory settings before taking it in to the shop so the dealer will never know (is this statement true??????)
+Free (I already have a vag cable)
+I would just make very mild changes to I assume it would be safer than a full blown chip (true??)
Plus I have some more NEWB questions:
Lemmiwinks can be used with a stock ECU, right?
(sorry if it doesn't work with a stock ECU and this whole post is a waste of time)
Is there anyone that has used Lemmiwinks to increase the performance of an otherwise stock allroad? If so how much performance was gained and what settings did you use? any negative effects?
TIA for any feedback and handholding

You cannot increase boost with Lemmi. You can burn holes in pistons
with it though. Unless you are already modded and need to change fueling or tune drivability problems, it's not of much use.Performance enhancements will be very modest at best. I'm a REVO dealer, I do know what I'm talking about, most of the time

thanks. one more question... if you dont mind.
this thread...

Shows this for channel 12:
___________________________________________
Ch12 : SEL Scaling (Turbo Cars Only)
Adjust boost
- Higher numbers increase boost pressure
- Lower numbers decrease boost pressure
___________________________________________
I'm sure that you know what your talking about and this is not a way to increase boost, I'm just wondering what "SEL Scaling" is?
Or does lemmiwinks just not let you set it to > 100% ?

Lemmi is tool for the educated...
or young and foolish. It can improve some charactaristics as easily as kill an engine. a few points in the wrong direction and BOOM.
Let's face it...the engineers at APR, GIAC. OT.c know what they are doing, I don't think any of us can do it better/safer with Lemmi or any other software set up.
Channel 12 is actually FUEL Mapping for turb motors. It adjusts the fuel acording to the boost level. It doesn't change the boost at all.

click
