Well, actually the same one. Good ole' #14 fuse. It blew again after disconnecting the drivers side rear footwell light. So I then disconnected the passenger one, still blew. Now I drive with one of the map lights on (since these don't work when the fuse blows), and haven't blown a fuse since..."a watched pot never boils"?! I'm thinking it's either the window regulator, or a door lock short. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'm just waiting for Turbo Lady, Fan Exploding Lady, or, let's see, oh yeah, Air Bag Lady...to show her ugly head!!!!!!! ;-)

Default Thanks, but it's not that! Sometimes when I put the driver's side window

auto-up, it'll start going down after going up for a few seconds...but of course it hasn't done this since I replaced the last fuse! The car is toying with me ;-)

Default If it goes up slow, try some silicone lube in the channels, If it still is slow you may have to fix

your guides and clips. Sounds like the window may be binding and cause the regulator to blow that fuse. The sweet part is that you get your rear footwell light back. My wife's a6 had a lazy passenger window and the silicone lube did the trick. There is a write up on the guides and clips for the a4.

a4 window write up
