Ok will all these AUDI thefts lately, let me explain why the Aladdin 2000 will protect your car

I have been receiveing tons of email about the Aladdin 2000 and how it works. Also many other fellow Audiworlders are getting their cars stolen. The Aladdin 2000 is not like other alarms out there. Since Audi does not include an immobilizer bypass(no chip in the key), they can be stolen quite easily. That is why you need an aftermarket alarm system It is one of the first 2 way paging systems out on the market and the best. It has been one of the best selling alarms in Japan for a few years. Here is what makes it so superior to other car alarms including the stock Audi.
- 1/4 mile range (remote will page you if someone breaks into your car). It likes having someone constantly monitoring your car.
- starter kill, if someone breaks into the car, the ignition will be disabled
- built in turbo timer (so you don't have to buy one)
- Remote Engine Starter ( works with manuals transmissons as well. the unit detects if car is in gear, and will not start unless car is in neutral. Works on all Audis, does not matter if you need to depress pedal)
-Programmable engine start-this is for you guys in cold areas. You can set the car to remote start at a specfic time, maybe 5 minutes before you go outside, so your car is warm and toasty.
-Locks and unlocks all doors through unit
-Auto Rearming, if car is unarmed, and no motion is detected, car will automatically rearm
-Easy installation, can DIY or take it to a stereo shop. Detailed PDF instructions online, and instructions included as well.
-Dual Stage Shock Sensor
-Can installed a remote trunk releases, since most Audis do not come with them.
If you have any more questions, please email me.

The alarm sounds great, but I don't understand why people want remote starters...
They change their oil every 3000 miles, but then abuse the crap out of their car by letting it sit and idle while it's cold...I'm not a big fan of unneccessary engine wear.
