OT...slightly...scanned a Friends 2.8 A4 yesterday and got absolutley no reponse from the ABS module
ABS light is on and VAG can't get thru, when turning on the ignition you'll hear the same 3 warning tones as when scanning the ABS module with the VAG.
My suspicion: ABS module shot......can anyone confirm/deny this? Is there anything else to test just to be certain? TIA!!!

Yeah, abs module electronics need rebuilding. Search the archives for 'modulemaster'.
I need to pull the one from my a4 and send it in for rebuilding later this month. Don't want to get into late fall/winter sans abs.
