Oxygen Sensor Questions

Wondering if anyone has used vagcom/vcds to look at o2 sensors. I followed the procedure on this vortex thread after pulling some codes.

The thing is according to vcds sensors and cats test ok. In that thread they test age of o2 sensors. Thread says "The aging value must be above 0.80" My sensors come in around 0.30, I'm wondering if this is causing trouble or is vcds correct and they are fine.

Anyone have any experience with vcds test o2's and cat.

And for purchasing does anyone know if the pins can be removed from the vw connector and inserted into the audi connector. I've read its possible but never had real conformation that someone did it. May just go the universal splice in as they seem to have included a great connection system. (anyone used the splice in bosch universal)

Bosch splice is a bulky pain in the ***. Solder & heat shrink.

ecs tuning for universal splice, craig @ genuine audi for oem

Hard to beat amazon but I found vw OE sensors cheaper on ebay (good seller) - can I pop the pins out and put them in audi connector?

Pulling the pins out of a VW o2 sensor and inserting in Audi plug use to be the way to go, although

I believe the Audi/VW sensors are the same price now? I bought 6 VW sensors before price increase, and an extra pair of Audi plugs so I always have spares ready. You just need to be careful using VW length o2 sensor wires because they are long enough that you can cross wire the sensors plugs(left sensor to right firewall connection or vise versa) if you don't pay attention.
