Paging Sarge and Autospeed...yes both.
A thought occured to me yesterday that may help to resolve your problems.
Most every shop has liability insurance to cover errors, mistakes, ommisions, etc. on a the work it does.
ie: An allroader had a timing belt job done up in Maine sometime after the job was complete a bolt sheared, the belt failed, the pistons hit, etc. the engine was pretty beat up.
The independant shop filed a claim with his carrier and the carrier paid the shop to do the rebuild.
One would think that Auto Speed has coverage for an event like this. And IF, the car carrier had some part in it (car jockey joy riding in the car?), the insurance companies themselves could subrogate and sort it out.
