playing in the snow...curb check
Hi, very new to the site, but have had our ar for 3 months now and love it. After a recient snow I was playing in the ar, high speed snow driving and slamed both driver side rims on a curb...what is the possible damage besides these two bent rims, ouch! What is a good suggestion about getting it fixed, ie repair the orginal? get two new orginals (cost)two reperductions (AAArims.com) or plus size and get rid of the double spokes all together, they are hard to clean, and w/ adjustable ride I want some 18's. what is the correct size 18 rim/tire to get for the ar? I know this is a lot but I need to get the car back right, I have learned my lesson and will not hurt my wifes car again...thanks joe

Ouch!
You're brave to think of running 18's in this city. I don't think any state has more potholes than us. The double spokes look cool but must be a real joy to keep clean. Even our regular wheels had the ice accumulation imbalance with the cold snap a few weeks ago. A search on this forum should get you a few good choices of wheels and tires. It is a very common topic. If you're ever in Shelby Township, stop by. Have a great New Year!

Check out www.wheelcollision.com. They have repaired
wheels for me and obtained wheels for me on occasion for over 10 years. Their repair work is excellent and I always thought their prices were fair.
