Question to All Who Had the Mud Flaps Installed...

I had a dealer install the mud flaps on my AR. Noticable improvement judging from this weekend trip from LI (NY) to Jimney Peack ski area.
Question, though... On your front mud flaps do you have a topmost metal clip not seated all the way? I have a feeling my dealer did something wrong, since my sticks out a bit on both sides.

Please advise...

Yep....

The clips are too long to push all the way on. Pry them back of and cut 1/2 of the inside edge of the clip. Push back on... Voila' flush and professional.

how do the mudguards look (pics?). will it help keep debris from the body?

Look at the link below, third picture.

Just put the front ones on this weekend and had the same issue. The fit is well engineered except for the clip. For a while I thought I did something wrong. Looks like the next warm day a slight mod will be made to the clip.
