Default rear seat overhead lights issue... any ideas?

It started a month ago but went away.
When switched on middle lights don't come on
When rear door is open nothing again

but when I turn on the front light switch both front and rear come on.. weird...

Any ideas

I am going to look up the diagrams for the lights

TIA

Default Yup

Try popping it out and reseating the connector, and/ or moving the connector up or down while it is connected to see if that helps.

This was the only thing wrong with my ar when I bought it.

Default Sorry should have been more specific =)

If you remove the light the connector that plugs into the light.

Mine had zero functionality when I bought my car.

So I eventually got around to troubleshooting it. Pulled it down and found that if I jiggled <technical terminology> the connector the light worked.

So I found the sweet spot <another technical term.> where it worked and popped the light back in, and it has been working ever since.

I am enlightened now with new technical terms. Thanks.

Default 2nd on "wiggling" the connector

I had exact same problem, pulled rear housing down, wiggled and viola -- it worked.
