Default parts list for the RS6 intercooler install

From Genuine Audi parts

1X - 4B3-117-336 DUCT (ended up not using this)
1X - 4B3-117-335 DUCT (ended up not using this)
1X - 077-145-814-C BRACKET
1X - 077-145-813-B BRACKET
1X - 077-145-785 COOLER
1X - 077-145-804 COOLER

from siliconeintakes.com

2 x Silicone Reducer, 3.0" to 2.0"
2 x Silicone Reducer, 90° bend - 2.5" to 2.25"
2 x Silicone Reducer, 90° bend - 3.0" to 2.5"
2 x Stainless Steel Joiner, 2.5"
4 x T-Bolt Clamp for 3.0" Silicone Parts
4 x T-Bolt Clamp for 2.5" Silicone Parts
5 x T-Bolt Clamp for 2.0" Silicone Parts
1 x Silicone elbow, 45° bend - 2"
2 x Stainless Steel Joiner, 2.0"

FWIW, the 3" T-bolt clamps didnt get tight enough and the shop didnt like working with the others, so the shop ended up sourcing some other clamps locally.

Default thanks for looking it up

looks like you went with 077145814C.
Carson listed a 077145814 passenger side without the "c" for $48.26.

I'll be interesting to read what yrk2.7T has to say about the install.

Thanks again for sharing.

Default Wow. Very interesting read, indeed. I wonder how much you *really* gain over an rs4/awe/other smic

setup that doesnt' have the install headache of the rs6s. This has me rethinking going the rs6 route.....

Default the big gain was availability

ER coolers are still "two weeks out" the same status they have had since June.

AWE's were backordered when I needed to order these, and

the RS4's are just smaller than the RS6's

that said, the shop where I am having this work done would tell you to re-think these. They are not amused with how painful it has been.

Default Hmmmmm.

the shop also mentioned hanging that passenger side cooler was a PITA to mount and adjustments had to be made to the bracket. you might try the non "C" version if you go down this route. for that price it is probably worth it to see how it fits.

Default what was the cost of using RS6 vs AWE? was it a big saving?

I went with AWE.

FYI- Anyone who wants shrouds...AWE shrouds arent as expensive as they use to be, but still a wait for it. They said they are getting them made from another manufacturer now for a fraction of the cost.

Default AWE was out of stock, so I didnt have a choice

these cost $1200 for the coolers, shrouds, brackets, and all the hoses. probably would have been about $250 less without the unused shrouds (chalk that up to experience)

I am not sure what AWE's even cost as they pull the cost from their website when they are not available.

Default IIRC I also have the non-c bracket. It is a very tight fit, and like metioned

the hoses aren't an exact fit and need some trimming but I think that for the money and time invested it is well worth it.

Those big end tanks should direct the airflow pretty evenly through the charge rows rather than just the first couple.
