Default Replaced front airbag but front end still drops down.

I just replaced a leaky front airbag with an aftermarket Arnott bag. The install was pretty un-eventful. It has been several days since I did the work and I've noticed that the front of the vehicle is dropping down by the morning. Also, the side I replaced is typically lower than the other side. It's set on L2.

Is there anything that I didn't do or should have done? The air fitting seems to be tight and I don't hear any leaks.

Thanks for your help.

Default Could be valve body that controls ride height it's back by the compressor

I had a similliar problem, had to find a quiet location and I could only hear it after I crawled up under the car by the drivers side rear wheel (location of compressor and valve body).

Was the valve body bad or is there an adjustment that can be done. Now that i think about it, I did hear some air or other type of noise back there that I'd never heard before. Thanks for the input.

Default Valvebody was bad, no user servicable adjustments

I tried to "clean out" possible trash caught in the seats of the valves, it didn't work. I ended up replacing it, out of warranty and not a cheap item to boot. Sorry, I wish I had better news for you, wish you the best. I never tried to dismantle the old valvebody, I still have the old valvebody somewhere in the garage, I am not sure that it can be fixed, not sure what all is involved.

Default Any tips on the install?

I'm geting ready to order replacement springs for both sides (to make sure things are "even") this morning.

Do you have any advice, having gone through the process? Any tips?

Thank you.

I sprayed some soapy water on the top of the airbag where it seals agains the aluminum housing and found a leak there. I took it apart and discoverd that I hadn't put any type of lube/oil whatever on that o-ring. Put it back together and it's fine. Thanks for the input.

Todd, Make sure you order them from Arnott. In fact, if you get them on Ebay, you get free shipping. $300 each. It was easier than I thought. Just make sure you turn the suspension system off prior to jacking up your car.
