Rough idle - no CEL
Looking for a little input on this one:
I've got a pretty rough idle. Car runs fine otherwise. I was recently driving around for a while with a bad O2 sensor (and CEL). I finally replaced the sensor. CEL gone. Rough idle still there. Replaced plugs. Rough idle still there. Took it in to the shop. Only code coming up is a bad O2 sensor on the other side ... but no CEL. I'll replace the other sensor but I dont suspect this will change anything with the idle. Any ideas on what this might be with no other codes coming up? I was thinking maybe a coil pack but I would suspect a CEL ... or at least a code. I've got neither.
Thanks!

CP will result in a Cel.. but..
a torn vacuum line may not as its just not severe enough. I'd give listen and look under the hood for some vac or air lines that may have a slight rip in them. As car's age, it becomes common especially for the smaller diameter hoses.

Log blocks 015 and 016 to see what cylinder(s) the mis fires are coming from.
If is is all from the side of the o2 sensor a new sensor could cure it.
If it is one cylinder that is suspect it could be a coil pack or plug.
Or if you replace the o2 sensor and still have one side that is doing it/ or if it is the opposite side of your faulty o2 is could be the POS<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/m_blocks/">measuring blocks</a></li></ul>
