Is the RS4 (B6 platform) coming to the US?

wrapping the presents...
I was picking my allroad up from the dealership yesterday for minor interior thing (latch on center console). While waiting for them to bring it, I cooled my jets by poking through the blue/ebony RS6 they had sitting in the showroom.
I must say - a very impressive sedan, all around. The interior seems that much more polished over that in our allroads by the same distance that the allroad was better than the A6 3.0 CVT loaner I had. The seats were amazing (soft leather), and the 18"s and the body package... yum.
Opening the hood, however, revealed a nasty little secret. That block aint gunna fit in our allroads with any amount of ease.
Still - if you have chance - lift the hood on one of those bad boys... you will be glad you did.

Yes it will come here, no it will not have a turbo V8.
The V8 just fits in the B6, no room for turbos. Audi has already built a twin turbo 3.0 V6, which it will most likely have.

I guess I will hold on to the wifes Jetta for a little longer....
The performance of the current S4 didn't blow me away, was going to replace the Jetta with the STI or a used M3. Guess I may have to wait if this is true!
