Searching for vagcom in WV
Hello fellow allroaders. I have been reading through this forum on and off for several months now and have always used various threads to better explain to my mechanic what my car problems are. For that I thank everyone who have shared their experiences and expertise.
I think it's time I finally got my own vagcom-- can anyone point me in the right direction as to what type of cable I would need. Is it ok to buy a used rosstech cable? what about the ones sold cheaply on ebay (for $15!), what use are they? I searched the forum but could not find any info on how to choose a vagcom setup.
In the meantime, can anyone close by help me diagnose a possible problem with my ABS and possibly calibrating the steering angle. I live in Bridgeport WV 26330.

The Ross-Tech site shows you which you need.
Used cables are OK, just make sure you get a non-DOA guarantee. (Also make sure it is of a type that can use the newer software)
Cheap ones on E-Bay work with the older VAG software but will not code all modules.<ul><li><a href="http://www.vagtoolfinder.com/default.aspx">VAG Tool Locator</a></li></ul>

thanks for the offer.
I'll try to locate one or buy on sooner, but I would appreciate if you could give me a ride in your allroad, and vice versa, to see if I'm just too sensitive, or there really is something wrong with the way my car rides. Let me know when you'll be in the area next, and I'll try to meet up with you if you're not too busy.
