Default Seems like there's a lot of us who are also into hot bikes. Tell us what you rode/ ride....

My bikes from 1978- 1990:
Ducati 900 SS
Guzzi CX100 LeMans
BMW R90S
BMW R100RS Motorsport Edition
Yamaha RD400 Daytona

Dry spell from 1990 to now.
H-D VRod VRSCD on order.

Default Currently ride a BMW R1100S

looking to replace with either

K1200R, MV Agusta Brutale 910, Monster S4Rs or Tuono R.

just have to convince the wife that it is time for a new bike. ;-)

back to a Virago. That thing was great.

Had wife driving a 250 rebel for a while (nothing quite like a petite blonde riding bike to work downtown in leather, boots etc).

we sort of gave it up after kids but sometimes I get the itch. It's been 6 years.

custom high-top bont vaypors with 84mm sniper frames

vastly different approaches to going fast

there was a tonykart 125 shifter mixed in there, but there wasn't any place to put a licence plate.

Had a Suzuki GN250 in '83 (not a hot bike!). Did a round-trip, Philly-Boston.

Default Yamaha FZR 1000 - I'll never need anything faster

& unlike some of the newer liter-bikes, it's quite comfortable.

Hated them after two months, tore it down again and put 16's on. Much better. 14's would be better, but then the frame would be too short for me.

Done a few more things with the bike - heartland turn signals, tradewinds headlight... and now I'm sort of sick of the whole harley thing. Tired of porcine noise. Thinking about a K1200S or a Tuono or a VFR or a CBR1000R or a ..........
