Slight vibration coming from wheels.................
I just had my 18" wheels roadforce balanced and mounted using 15mm H&R spacers. The spacers sit nice and flush but I feel a slight vibration and the tire shop is closed until Tuesday. I plan on taking the wheels off tonight and try to remount the wheels and torque the lugs to 90lbs. Is there anything else I should check for while I have the wheels off like rust buildup on the wheel hubs?
TIA

Try to rotate the new tires if you take them off anyways. Do a road test again, then you'll know
for certain if the new wheels need more attention.
Also check the tire pressure and increase/decrease for test purposes.

18x8.5 RS6 reps, 15mm H&R spacers, ET15 total - same thing around 60 MPH
I torqued, rotated, etc. Brand new Yoko ES100s on there. I am assmuming this is the uncurable 60 MPH allroad shimmy everyone is talking about. I've almost begun to ignore it after two weeks of ownership.

Hey Bryan- glad to see you got them all mounted up. Did you see the
road force readings?? If all the readings were within tolerance, I'd suspect corrosion buildup on the hubs. But if the RF readings were somewhat high on any wheel, did they rotate the tire on the wheel? Or just stick weights on. And keep in mind that it may take a few hundred miles for those tires to smooth out since the previous owner (wonder who that was) had them on his 402'd car for a thousand miles or so.
And as allroad2001 said, if you rotate them front to rear, did the vibration move or change?
I'm back in town tonight if you want to give me a call tomorrow (monday.)

My vibration was the wheels (not rims)
I purchased my '02 with 70 series tires on it. They were Michelin X green or something like that. The previous lease owner did that to save money. They were probably 4 take offs to remedy the stock tires wearing out at 28K mi. After 4000 mi. the wobble got really bad. The dealer made me a deal. We'll put O.E. Pirelli's on your car. If the wobble still happens after that, the tires are free. The car has the O.E tires and I've never been happier. I'll keep everyone posted on the good, bad and ugly of the O.E. Allroad tires.

I run mine at the amount proscribed on the car...39 front 42 rear...I only have a little vibration
at 70 to 75 that has always been there since I got the car and doesn't seem wheel/tire dependent. I really notice when they are low though.

Why such a difference: 32/32 F/R US sticker, 39/42 other?
Seems like a huge difference, I'm going to try both extremes and some in between on my Yoko Advans, like it seems others have done.
