Default Stowe VT - allroad capital of the east?....

Went up to Stowe this past weekend. Must have seen at least five other allroads. Certainly the right vehicle to be in if you drove up Friday night in the snow/ice storm. Ski conditions Saturday were definitely worth the trip.

Default I was there, Black ar w/ thule box - go Middlebury!

I saw 3 or 4 ars. Sunday was pretty sweet too. Woods were full of light dry snow.

Middlebury beat UVM (alpine ski racing) at the UVM winter carnival. UVM has won every year since 1973. Big news in the small world of NCAA ski racing.

Default Southern VT was great Friday

During the day it was awesome - 6-8" fresh snow at Stratton. Too bad it turned to rain Fri night.

Southern VT is pretty competitive for allroads - dozens and dozens, but most are not enthusiasts and look at you funny if you flash your lights hello-

Default dammit, I knew conditions were going to be good this weekend

but w/ 2 little kids and a 6+ hour drive it's hard to get up there. Argh. Glad you guys were able to enjoy it!

Stowe is a great place. Hopefully some day - my family, the allroad, the bikes and I will be there full time

Default Being east of the bay area doesnt make you east

Besides, if we are looking for allroad capital of the west, Boulder would be right up there with you in Truckee.

Default Yea I know, I used to live on Spruce St at one time. Don't even reconize the town any more.

my ex. ended up living out by the Flat Irons nere the Springs. There is a Bench deacated to her on a trail nere were she lived. We were friends even after everything and will be for ever in my heart. She road a K75S that she had bought after riding as a Marshel in the Coors Classic. I had a 4000s Quattro at the time we ment.
