Default tale of 3 snow tires- (also posted on wheel/tire forum)

I bought pilot alpins for my TT 4 years ago along with a set of Borbett wheels and really loved them. Last year I took the money from the TT class action suit and used the refund of my TT winter set to buy a set of allroad twin spoke wheeels and tires from a forum member as my winter set for it. This fall I bought 4 pilot alpins PA2s and mounted them on the twin-spokes, saving the P6s for who knows what. Anyway the pilot alpins are great! Way-way nicer than the P6s- I am one happy camper now. The pic is of the pilot alpins for my TT-205/55/16, PA2s for our MB E300 Diesel in 215/55/16, and the allroad in 225/55/17. Interesting how the tread pattern has changed. The old alpin has a real snow tire look (to me anyway), the PA2 for the MB has the 6 rib H rated tread, and the allroad PA2 has the V rated 5 rib tread. I was going to get Wintersport M3s but found rebates on the michelins and some shipping deals that made them lower in price. Again I'm very happy with all 3.

Did you consider the Arctic Alpins? They're a bit more aggressive than the Pilot Alpins.
