thought I'd share my morning car project - not the audi though.
got the rock sliders for the rover finished up this morning.
The sliders I got are boxed steel rails that mount to the door sills. they replace the plastic sill caps that were there before.

the sliders I picked up used. took some time to knock off the surface rust and to re-spray them before putting them on.
here they are on the truck:

they should provide a little more protection on the trails. not as much as frame mounted sliders, but still not bad.
