What is the mileage for timing belt change

book says 105K miles. most shops suggest 60K miles. I did mine at 75K

I did mine at 95k, cam seals were leaking and did all at once

I know that it is suppose to look new, but my belt looked new when it came off at 95K.

I'm more afraid of the water pump going than the timing belt

I did mine at 118K

I did my first at 75k in my 1.8T and just did the second at 140K+

I would not follow the book, do it much sooner.
