Tip and tires question from allroad shopper
1. Does 1st gear in the allroad hold with partial throttle, or is it like the A6 sedan; holds only at WOT?
2. I've seen Goodyear and Pirelli tires on new allroads. Are there other factory tires for allroads? Which should I insist upon?

If the tranny is in TIP mode it will hold 1st.
Tires are only GY and Pirelli. They are garbage. Get the dealer to put Pilot Sport AS on... I indured the Pirelli for 25k... I wish I hadn't now that I have the Michelins.
