Trade-in value for 2004 Allroad
I'm thinking about replacing my A6 Allroad for an A4 Allroad. My A6 is a 2004 with 194,000 miles. It is a, automatic, premium with navigation and Bose upgrade. Looks good (no rust or dings), runs well but is starting to have some transmission problems (a slight thump when engaging reverse).
Any ideas on trade-in value to a dealer in the Boston market?
Thanks,
Ken

Unfortunately, prolly not very much with your miles...and the looming tranny problem. But hey, no shame to trade it in before the tranny goes and taking the hit....instead of fixing said tranny then taking the hit on a trade.
Its always better $$ selling on your own...my 01' w/185K miles is in excellent condition (looks like it has 60K on it), 6 MT, O.CT chipped, NAV, Bose, RS6 rims and OE rims with winter tires...best I can hope for on the open market is about 6-7 grand.
My friend with his indy dealership would have given me 5 in trade last year with 175K on it...only because it shows so well. An Audi dealer will be much less I bet because they will have to bring it to auction to unload it.
